Castielfabib walled enclosure

Description

Various civilizations have settled in Castielfabib, from Iberian settlements, through a Roman period (Castrum-Fabii), and later the Arab period (Castil Al'Habib), which ended with the conquest by Peter II of Aragon in 1210. However, it was in the 14th century, during the conflicts between the crowns of Aragon and Castile, that the town of Castielfabib and its castle played a significant role, leading to the fortification of the town. Numerous visible elements of this period remain scattered throughout the town today.

Booking your visit will allow you to explore the interiors of the Town Hall, the Church of Our Lady of the Angels and ascend to the panoramic views of the Castle.
